WO All Male Skater Seminar Series 2011 - Session 2 Wrapup

Seminar session #2 was held on April 15, 2011 in Aylmer. 61 male skaters and 10 coaches participated in the day-long seminar.

Scott Davis was our guest coach working with all the boys for the on-ice sessions, with Scott Rachuk assisting. Peter Aivaliotis finished the fitness tests and conducted a fitness session with the groups. John Briscoe led the group in discussions off ice.

WO All Male Skater Seminar Series 2011 - Session 1 Wrapup

Seminar session #1 was held on March 3rd in Aylmer. 69 male skaters and 10 coaches attended this first session.

• Don Knight did a history lecture on 'Male Skating in Canada'. Lots of great video of our male skating from the past... including Don himself!! ... to the present.
• Paul MacIntosh with Kevin Wheeler assisting, ran skating skills & stroking classes on the ice.
• Peter Aivaliotis did fitness tests with all the boys.
• Our own WO Senior skaters, Adam Johnson and Mike Marinaro helped the boys by leading the stretch class after the ice portion.

It was great to see all the boys from Pre-Preliminary level to our Senior men together!
