Notice to Clubs, Coaches & Test Chairs Re Planned Program Sheets for all Freeskate Tests
As of September 21st, please be advised that for all Skate Canada freeskate tests, skaters are requested to submit a completed Planned Program Sheet to the Test Chair prior to the test day.
On the test day, the Test Chair will forward the Planned Program Sheets to the evaluator(s) prior to the skater commencing the freeskate test.
NEW STARSkate Free Skating Test Sheets
Revised test sheets are available online and for order. These sheets will be effective July 1, 2011. Please ensure that these sheets are in use for all STARSkate free skating tests after July 1st!
Judges & Evaluators List for Test Chairs Only
The section judges' list is now available to our Club Test Chairs through the Western Ontario Members' Only site - via Skate Canada's Members Only site. This list is for your Club's Test Chair's use ONLY in arranging test days. Please treat this information as confidential and respect our officials' privacy! Note that the list will be updated throughout the year.
Please make every effort to invite different evaluators to your subsequent test sessions rather than using the same evaluator. Newly qualified evaluators as well as current evaluators need to remain consistent with the standards and this comes with experience. This is a challenge when the same evaluator goes to the same club every test day. Thanks for supporting our judging community!
Gold
Tests
Please
submit every completed Gold Test passed by a skater
in your club to the Section Office, using the Gold
Test Report Form [fill and print PDF]. Requests for Gold Test Certificates should
be sent directly to the Section Office and should be accompanied
by a photocopy of the Test Summary Sheet.
Test Summary Sheets
The Section copy should be sent to the Section Office.
Test Day Emergencies
If an "emergency" situation arises at your test day
and you require any type of support, please contact
the WO Judges' Chair.
Dance Rules as Applied to Test Days
Thanks for Helping Promote Our Evaluators!!
Thank you for your ongoing
assistance to our evaluators seeking
